Submissions & Registration
Call for Abstracts

The submission deadline has been extended until

January 31, 2021

We invite you to present your current research at WESC. Within the Call for Abstracts, you can submit your contribution for a regular conference session or for a mini-symposium.

Applicants for an oral presentation at the conference have the choice, either to submit an abstract for a regular session within one of the ten conference themes, or to apply for a concrete mini-symposium outlined on this website (index cards under Programme) and in the conference system vCongress.

For both options, acceptance will be based on a reviewed one-page abstract. Mini-symposia chairs decide if they accept the contribution, or if it is added to the regular sessions.

Abstract (for a talk in a regular session or in a mini-symposium):
- allocation to one of the 10 conference themes
- a title
- 450 - 550 words
- 3 - 5 keywords
- 1 - 2 figures with description each
- references (please use the Harvard citation format)
- information about the author(s)

You can enter everything in the conference system and do not need to upload a document.
